Authorized Agent Training

This class familiarizes university network personnel with the standards, hardware, and software tools of the XXIst century network project.

The class is broken up into two portions. The first deals with the safety and cabling standards of the upgraded telecommunication rooms on campus. Other topics in this section deal with TIA/EIA vocabulary, Authorized Agent responsibilities, and XXIst century network hardware.

The second half of the class is devoted to the tools in the Authorized Agent Network Tool Suite (AANTS). Participants will receive hands-on experience with the AANTS site.
