Graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
Building upon six years of teaching in Chicago-land public schools and his affinity to training and group work, Greg Konop and his leadership skills are making a statement on campus. His area of expertise includes instructional design, small to mid-size project management, and communication. At the office, you will find him managing a large scale training solution for UWSA including supervising the team, consulting on best practices, and designing curriculum for online delivery.
Greg graduated with a degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He has worked with many customers and stakeholders and takes pride in the relationships he’s built here in Madison, across the UW system, and around the state.
In addition to PTE, Greg has been very active in his community, food pantry and community service organizations, and the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD). The greatest recognition he’s received is that his kids still find him cool, a tough act for any parent.
Greg led the work and team that created a series of web-based training programs for the Division of Children and Families. He states that the experience was very rewarding, as they created a valuable product for an excellent customer.
Flickr.com. Not necessarily software… rather a web site that is great for sharing photos and learning about photography by looking at the wonderfully creative work of others.
A favorite campus spot:
Of course, the Memorial Union
A favorite place to visit:
My wife’s grandparents built a home in Northwestern Wisconsin. It is my absolute most relaxing place to be.
I want to give him the heat and announce my presence with authority.
